Meet the Founder

Jenny Ruth founded Wheelhouse Design Studio with the belief that a home should be as functional as it is beautiful. Through a thoughtful, practical approach to interior design and organization, she creates spaces that support daily life and feel effortlessly livable. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Jenny lives with her husband and three children. She draws inspiration from spending time in nature, family life, and a life guided by faith.

Our Mission

We bring interior design and home organization together to create spaces that are welcoming, uncluttered, and easy to live in.

Our Core Values

Thoughtful over trendy
We design with longevity in mind, favoring timeless spaces over passing trends.

Clarity creates calm
When design and organization work together, spaces feel intentional, functional, and easy to live in.

Respect at every step
We approach every project with care, professionalism, and clear communication— treating people the way we would want to be treated.

A Studio-Led Process

Wheelhouse operates as a design studio, collaborating with a trusted network of vendors, craftspeople, and trade partners to bring each project to life. This approach allows us to offer a thoughtful, well-supported experience—from concept through completion—without unnecessary complexity.

Whether we’re designing a room, organizing a home, or curating furnishings, our goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel calm, intentional, and easy to live in.

What Clients Can Expect

Working with Wheelhouse is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded. Clients can expect clear communication, intentional decision-making, and designs that prioritize both form and function.

We design homes meant to be lived in—comfortably, confidently, and with ease.
